mechanism

Inhibit biosynthesis of weeds’ essential amino acids to destroy their meristematic tissue production
Attack and destroy weed lipids and protein membranes
Highly systemic, absorbed by weed roots and leaf surfaces

features

Kill more sedges quickly and completely regardless of size
Potent poisoning of sedge tubers and rhizomes with no chance of recovery
Fast-acting: poisoned in 1-2 days, total kill in 14-28 days
Safe to both warm-season and cool-season turfgrasses

symptomology

  • Purple and yellow nutsedges leaves turn yellow 1-2 days after treatment, may further develop a purplish/reddish color in the next 5-10 days, and become necrotic and dried out in 14-21 days. By 21-28 days, tuber interiors have browned, indicating decay. Once tubers have decayed, sedges are unable to recover and are thus eradicated.

  • Green kyllinga leaves and stems begin to shrink and brown 2-4 days after treatment and dry out after 10-14 days. Underground rhizomes simultaneously shrink, brown, and decay. Eradication results in 14-21 days.

  • In the case of other sedges, a similar symptomology to the above is observed.

  • May cause temporary yellowing to certain zoysia cultivars with full turf recovery in 10-14 days.
